i have something tell you
“What is your purpose?
Why are you here?
Is your life worth it?
Is your end near?
Ringing your wrists you ponder your life.
You hear your heart beating in your ears.
Is life really worth all the strife?
Your eyes are drowning in your fears.”
I wrote these two stanzas,
Months and months ago.
Now looking back on it,
I need to let you know.
Nothing is ever as it seems.
Even the things you blame for hurting you.
And nothing can ever kill your dreams,
Even if you feel they died long ago.
Months of heartbreak after heartache time and time again,
Leaves our thoughts shattered,
We don’t let anything in….
…. Or out.
Like soda being shaked,
Our feelings almost spill like a spout.
Why do we let the world get the best of us?
Why do we give in to our fears?
Some say crying never helps anything,
But sometimes the only way to let go is through your tears.
You don’t need to know all the answers,
And don’t let anyone tell you that questions are a danger to the truth.
What you are doing, even the small things, matter.
People care for you because of who you are, not all the things you do.
