I Have a Thing for the Moon

I have a thing for the moon.
I'm scared to go to sleep.
I think I'm scared.
I have to be scared.
That's the only explanation
I'm scared to sleep
Maybe I'll never wake back up.
That's weird to be afraid of
What am I waking up to?
That's the line that scares me.
Maybe I'm scared to go to sleep
I'll never want to wake back up.
And so, I have a thing for the moon.
