I haven't refreshed my soul in 8 days

I haven't refreshed my soul in 8 days
And yet the sharing continues and the clicks overwhelm my fingers
As they slide over contradictory familiar faces
Checking to see if your response reached me
Read at 1:59 am
And yet your story grows, snapping my confidence in too
I have a 99.9 percent chance of meeting my soulmate on distance screens, different galaxies
Reality far apart
It all falls apart
As we try to maintain the image that initially generated interest
Delivered at noon
You won't even open me
You peeped inside and was mesmerized by the blue
Little sparks of anxiety just for you
Far away, So far away
Poor connection
You began to fade
With just a few more clicks you can be erased
I haven't refreshed my soul in 8 days
And yet it repeats...
