I hear College singing

I hear college coming, the varied voices I hear

Those of nervous high school seniors

Struck with fear

Senioritis affecting all of them

The S.A.T’s tearing them apart piece by piece

Just lazily getting by in school

Hoping to get in their dream school

Finally the end of the year comes

Constitution Hall

Finally it came, and so did the tears

One after another they fell on the concrete floor

With a loud thundering sound

Words, hugs and even kisses were exchanged

Now that they’ve walked across that stage

And said what was needed to say

Although it was difficult, but everyone

Had their own future ahead of them

Nothing can stop them now.

They’ve worked hard to get thier diploma;

It’s time to take a bow

.It’s time to take off to college

It’s time for the parents to let their child go.

Time for friends to say goodbye.

The day belongs to them, day to begin college…
