I Heard

heard a thousand blended note. While in the grove my mind reclined, The Politics inside decided to vote. In that sweet mood then pleasant defind. Greeted me to bring sad thought to the mind. To her fair works did mother nature link. the human soul made my eye wink and much it grieved my heart to think. What man has made of man? If this belief from heaven Ben sent? If such be natures holy plan, Have I not reason to lament,? What man has made of man? Love, now a universal birth, From heart to heart is stealing. From earth to man, from man to earth; -It is the now of Feeling.
