i held her hand today

we lyed on the floor

a joke, its all a joke

yes, a joke...

laughing

staring at the ceiling

this beautiful girl

held my hand in hers...

but it was just a joke..

i didnt want to let go

i wanted to pretend she would embrace me

that she would look into my eyes and feel the same

i closed my eyes and lied to myself for a second

it was not a joke

and the way we laughed about the sweat forming at our fingers

was more that what it really was...

but i woke up

and

and

it was a joke
