I Hope That One Day...

I hope that one day... you will buy every pretty dress that you ever wanted. I hope you wear them and dance barefoot in a meadow of flowers... and laugh. I hope you smile at all the little things in life, such as the laughter of children and the twinkling stars. I hope you get that tattoo you've dreamed of getting... and pridefully so.

I hope that one day... you get to visit Paris like you've always wanted, and learn to be fluent in French. I hope you never stop singing the songs that make you so full of life, even when people tell you that you can't - in fact, especially then. I hope that is when you'll sing the loudest, drowning out the pain and expressing yourself with the beauty of song.

I hope that one day... you'll stop beating yourself up about stuff that is out of your control. I hope you have the guts to speak aloud when something is important to you. I hope you step out of your comfort zone and fall insanely in love with someone completely unexpected. I hope you learn how to forget about your scars - inside and out - and learn to be happy.

I hope that one day...
