I hope you're happy
Wasting away every day on all the thoughts and words I say
I wish I might, I wish I may
But in the end... the hurt will stay.
I hope you're happy.
I hope you're glad when you sit in your tears and you're wondering, dear how to face your fears because I'm no longer here... who else will hear?
Who else will listen when I'm not around to turn that frown upside down to bring back the light and bring back the sound to know when you're lost and make sure you're found?
Who else will care enough to give you a call every time something seems off and be there constantly just to talk when you feel like everything is going wrong?
I hope you're happy.
I hope you see that good I see and I hope you be the best you can be but looking on reality I can see that you need me so that you stay up off your knees.
I won't go though you tell me so because I know what's down that road and what can happen when you feel alone and I don't want to see your name in stone.
But, I will tell you this. When you push me away day by day it makes me regret every thing I say I hate myself in every way but my promise to you, I will stay.
I hope you're happy.
