I ignore echoes

Fri, 09/13/2019 - 15:59 -- JediKat

Echo is watching,

will someone turn around?

Echo had learned,

the dangers of sound.

Echo had chattered,

was she wrong?

Echo is silent,

though her words abound

Echo is talking

(Can you hear her)

Was she silly? Or was she naively cheerful?

Or was she wanting someone to see her? Was she vain?

Was she hoping for anyone

to notice her pain?

Echo is lost

(Can you find her)

Echo is silent,

her regrets abound.

Echo had chattered,

was she wrong?

Echo had learned,

the taboo of sound.

Echo is watching,

will you turn around?
