I Just Do
Because I love you
I pour your cup of coffee before my own
Because you love me
You give me the last of the french vanilla creamer
Because I love you
I put our mountain of laundry in the wash
Because you love me
You move the clothes to the dryer when I forget
Because I love you
I wake up early with our baby boy so you can sleep in
Because you love me
You forgive me for being cranky when I'm sleepy
Because I love you
I tell you when something you do upsets me
Because you love me
You allow me to feel comfortable sharing my feelings
Because I love you
I believe in your dreams
Because you love me
You push me to pursue what makes me happy
Because I love you
I smile when you sing silly songs
Because you love me
You sing them just for me
Because I love you
We have a happy, healthy baby boy
Because you love me
He will grow up in a home full of laughter
Because I love you
Writing this was easy
Because you love me
I knew just what to say
Because I love you
And because I always will.
