I just don't understand

Through those haunted eyes The darkness is flowing See the other side The moon no longer glowing Why won’t you listen? Love Loss Why? All that’s left is to die. So fast you came, so fast you went Now a bright stain on my soul Was it really love so quickly spent? You stopped trying before I became whole Why can’t you understand? Love Loss Why? All that’s left is to say goodbye. You left her for me, now you left me for her you once held the key happiness a vague blur Why won’t you listen? Love Loss Why? All that’s left is to die. I guess I was just a mistake A whim of the heart Another girl to forsake The pain is so sharp Why can’t you understand? Love Loss Why? All that’s left is to say goodbye. Life is confusing No clear rhyme or reason Is my pain amusing? I feel you have committed treason Why won’t you listen? Love Loss Why? All that’s left is to die. I just don’t understand what did I do wrong? Love is a firebrand And it sings a mournful song Why won’t you listen? Why can’t you understand? Love Loss Why? All that’s left is to say goodbye. All that’s left is to die.

I love this poem, keep writing. A lot of poets lose the ability to write what they feel.
