I just met you

All year long we were friendly strangers I admired you from afar Relief came when I found out we would be going to the same University in a few months 42 days before graduation we began talking It was going great and we were having fun I was looking forward to the next 4 years Now 36 days before graduation you received a better offer We will not be attending the same school anymore At least not for the first 2 years We will be 4 hours apart You don't know how much that hurts All I can do is sit and think Of what could have been, but now doesn't even have a chance to grow
