Why I continued to cry

Why I hated everything and everyone

Why I tried to hide from the outside

Why I stopped doing things I liked

..it was because I wanted to go back home but couldn't because I was somewhere new

Why the demons of the night haunted my dreams

Why I constantly cried myself to sleep

Why I took on bad habits, hoping it would distract me

..it was because I never got to tell you bye before you died.

Why I keep myself busy

Why I have multiple friends

Why I continue to write

..because it makes everything alright
