I Just Wanna Know Why

I Just wanna know why

Why you did the things you did hurt the people you hurt

Especially me

Your daughter

Your own flesh and blood

I just wanna know why

Why you stayed out late until five in the morning

Why you left me at home alone

Because in your eyes I was grown

But I was only seven

You were supposed to love and care for me

And show me how to do the same

But instead you showed my different

I just wanna know why

Why you lied to me over and over

and still to this day

I never get the truth

I always get false hope

Broken Promises

And I dont understand it

How you can look like a hero in the eyes of others

Do everything right except being a mother

You have three kids and your life's not together

And I just wanna know why
