Man, everything would be alright if I could just write

I write in a way that warms your soul and touch your heart

I’m captivating from the start

Man, I just wanna write

My word,

            They’re not just my bonds

They are my liberty and expression

Don’t take me as being conceited

That’s not even my spirit

I can’t lose this fight, I just wanna write

            They can help you if you do more than hear me

            You’ll see why this is my destiny

            So, if they continue to ask, “What’s my major?”
