I just wanted space

I said I needed time to adapt to our changing worlds ;you said you didn't understand. You said you needed space,I don't call or text then see you running around with chicks in my face.How can this be heathy for our gowth? How can this be healthy for our foundation? If you really love me you'll take this space to grow, to find yourself and learn how to love. Develop as a person, adapt to the change of our new lives.It hurts to see your name on the caller ID and no answer, but I have to be strong, because I love you. When I saw you the other day my heart skipped a beat. You will always mean everything to me but I have to know when its best to walk away. My foot wouldn't push the gas pedal; I wanted to scream your name. I know we can be that power couple if only things were once the same. But then I'm reminded of her and even more I have my determination to succeed. So for better or worst I cannot let "because you love me" be the reason I fail. Call me selfish, heck I'll even be lonely but because I love you I know I had to let you go.
