I Knew A Boy

I knew a boy..
A very nice one
Full of jokes & smiles
He made me happy all the time.
I knew a boy
Who was pained
But never said a word
Darkness surrounded him but what he didn't know was
I loved him..
This very same boy I knew
Became bitter & weak
He turned on me
Despite my every plea
& closed every damn door in reach.
