I knew I was growing

I knew I was growing up when I stopped being upset with my mother.

Countless nights that I would scream up to the heavens and ask what I did to deserve such sorrow

I was tired of feeling the way I felt so I said it was time to make a change.

When you grow up it is a decision to consciously take responsibility for yourself

I was tired of making excuses for myself and blaming others for my actions.

In the process I learned its okay to feel emotions.

I ended up learning how to love myself as woman and to become a woman.

Living this life you have to:

Fearlessly be you

Accept what is and what is not

Not only find your purpose, but live in it

Love whole-heartedly

And learn how to let go

After stumbling upon these values it honestly changed my life.

I won't say that I have it all figured out because I don't, but I also learned that its okay to not know what the next step is.

Its one of the scariest yet liberating experiences.

A lot of things I do not put my energy into and that's okay too.

You don't always have to be in the crowd, sometimes you learn more by stepping back and watching and listening.

Focusing on yourself is the biggest challenge

Just don't let the challenge consume you.
