I Know

I know the pain that my mother felt, and doctors couldn't understand

I know what it feels like to be an outsider, while it seems easy fit in

I know how good it feels to be praised when it seems like nothing is ever good enough

I know the smell of perfume, which reminds me of who I am and where I going

I know listening to the sound of thunder and rain like it's your favorite tune

I know the wailing sound of an ambulance and thanking God that it's no one in my family

I know how social media can make an average girl feel like a monster

I know if I continue to be myself people will continue to judge me

I know that I can succeed in life, but people try to influence me not to try

I know how to dress in dresses because as a girl I want to be seen as elegant and classy

I know that pearls, diamonds, and gold is looked upon as being too flashy

I know I don't want to be looked at as if I'm an alien from some planet

I know when people talk behind your back they lack the knowledge of seeds that you've planted

I know that a smile is worth so many words

I know a frown is the symbol of people not being heard

know there's a lot of unfortunate people on the streets of Chicago

I know the feeling of wanting to lend a hand because you feel their sorrow

I know that the world is a huge place

know the difference between what's right and what's not

I know that with the faith in God I don't have anything to worry about

I know that when you light a candle a dim light seem to appear

I know that the sweet scent of vanilla is welcoming in a home

I know dancing is a creative workout.

I know my future is bright

I know that my words were needed for someone who ever experienced doubt
