I Know

I know grief

I know love

I know belief

That I'm certain of

I know too much

I know pain

I know suffering

I know piercing rain

I know comforting

I know too much

I know what it feels like

To have something ripped away

It's almost childlike

The sorrow I display

I know too much

I know how it feels

To have someone love me

It has it's appeals

I smile happily

Because I know so much
