I know


I know you still hate me for what I did.

I know I can’t say I was not to blame.

I know if I did, it would be a lie. 

I know I hurt you, even though I swore not to. 

I know I have no right to ask for your forgiveness. 

I know I still want to try once more. 

I know it’s not fair for me to want that. 

I know I don’t care if it’s fair or not. 

I know I’ll give you all you want this time. 

I know I won’t let you down this time.
