"I Know. I Know."

“I know.”

I know and I’m still here

I know and I’m still looking you in the eyes

I know and it doesn’t matter

I know and you still look the same

I know and realize how strong you are

I know and wish you hadn’t held onto this alone

I know and I’m reaching for your hand

I know and I’m squeezing your hand too tight

I know and I don’t want to leave

I know and I’m still here

“I know.”
