I Know Of Only One Thing

I am stranded on an island,

all by myself, alone.

I see nothing in the distance,

and hear nothing but my moans.

I am tired, I am scared, and I know of only one thing,

oh how I wish I had my Papa

to hold me, and love me, and tell me everything was okay.

But he is not with me,

he is only in my mind,

and I soon shall be together with him again,

once I meet him in the sky.

For I feel quite weak now, my strength is giving out

because I know of only one thing,

my Papa I cannot live without.
