As I Lay, Dying.

See They say creativity flows.

Through my Self-Worth

Life lessons, challenges, every day struggles.

And I used to believe it made us whole.

To be oneself; but how, in a world such as this?

Because it comes with a price, what is it worth.

Filled with Judgement and hate.

Just a game

A game that I can play well.

But Who I am and who I must be ,

no one else can say but me.

Love and Pain we all endure.

Leaves us corrupt,

Insane , What happened to our purity.

What happened to my life. No joy, no life, no happy endings.

This Teen who felt trapped .

Alone.Stuck.Hurt.

Trying to Remember you

The "you" I used to know

Filled with Beauty,

True Beauty

But now, the person you have become; Grown to be

with all the pain and struggles

The constant worrying

A Shattered Heart, and scratched Canvas

The troublesome thoughts

Mind, lost long ago

Inside hollow and empty

I think back trying to remember you

When you smiled,

Bright, radiant as the sun.

did I not see you crying behind it all.

All those laughs, and you were really dying inside

So smart, Intelligent

who were you trying to impress

Those friends, thought to have loved you,

but you learned to never believe it

You saw no love , only sadness. Loved they say

and yet still alone and who else to turn to .

To bear this pain

This blade .. sharp. Powerful

A tool. And I the creator, my body the paper

Artwork, they call it.

My personal sketch pad

This flesh, new paper

A new design with every stroke

Detailed. and Hidden.

For the Creators eyes only

Finding myself

Because I want to live

To be free, to be me …

The perfect me I see in my dreams.

Am I Beautiful ...

yet ?
