I learned
As the light beems everyday through my window
I realized that I became my own hero.
Everyone regrets and forgets,
For that I believe is my allegiance to see ahead
Of what is beyond this world of threats.
Seventeen years of being in this world,
No wonder I changed every aspect of my own.
Everysince I was a child I wondered,
What it would feel like to pondered
And reflect on who I am now.
I learned that love is power
And forgiveness is needed every hour.
I learned that intelligence does not define you,
But your kindness helps you feel enpowerd.
Power, power, what does it mean?
It is a way to feel like a God damn queen.
I learned that I can achieve every dream
So I will shine just like gleam.
I learned that patience
Is a mechanism to be gracious.
I learned that having the best hair or the best shoes
Are not things that make you feel
the best you.
I learned that you discover within time,
And indifference can open a cruel world full of crime.
I learned that honesty needs to be given for free,
But respect needs to be worked for to be seen.
I learned, oh! I learned, does it matter what I learned?
Yes because I learned, that these seventeen years
Have been the most precious and remarkable
Highs and downs
Full of laughs and tears,
That haved made me who I am now.
