From this I learned

From poetry I learned how to express myself. Poetry taught me that it's ok to write out my feelings. Poetry taught me to dig deep and pour out my feelings on a piece of paper. From poetry I learned how others view the world. As I read other people's poems I learned that I am not the only one, I am not alone. But most of all from poetry I learned the power of words and the effect simple combinations of words can have on someone. Thats what I learned from poetry.
