I Let Go

I let go.

I lost complete control of my soul in letting go.

All I've ever wanted was to be happy.

Tired of feeling defeated, conquered, and held.

Feeling fooled, but... I've forgiven you.

I've forgiven you.

I've forgiven you.

I've forgiven you for all the hurt, for all the pain, and for all the suffering.

I let it go.

I let go, and it felt so good.

Carrying this burden, it all became so heavy.

My eyes started to become weary.

I let it go, and I've let it go for good this time.

I hope you know you've played unfair, and all along I've understood.

Or at least tried to understand.

You was used to be being depressed, so I had to create this plan.

And I let go. *

*I heard a similar poem and did a spin off with a lot of my own words.
