As I Lie Here
As I lie here all around me I see
A whole world of creativity
The Birds, oh how they sing
With their little ones under their wing
The wind softly blowing through my locks
making my work run away like a fox
But as I lie here
I can’t help but think of one fear
What will happen when all this comes to an end?
How could I defend
Those who try to ruin you.
As I lie here feeling the dew
slowly, so slowly, dampening my skin
I don’t want to commit the great sin.
I just want to lock you up and keep you forever
but you are here for everyone not just a selfish me.
