The letter that has the same sound as what’s on your face

The only vowel that can set me apart from the rest of the world

The vowel that’s used by me the most, the one my poetry counted on

You say you can’t make a poem that doesn’t have a key vowel, but that’s not true

How does one successfully create a true work of art when they can’t talk about themselves

Each person possesses an unmeasurable amount of talent that they need to use

When they leave out that talent, the story loses every last ounce of value

Once you take yourself out of any work of your own, you may as well sell the work to someone else for them to own

But the same can be true for your heart

Once you place your heart under someone else’s control, you lose yourself

You lose the person you once were and the person you could have become

So, to every last person out there, love yourself.

Don’t throw away any part of who you are because once you do that, there’s no undo button

Your presence has a value that you’ll never understand and that’s perfectly okay.

So don’t put yourself lower than the rest just because you don’t see what good you do.
