I, a Little Spec

And all the stars are crashing into the earth.

And all the moons are spiraling out and in.

And all the planets wonder why they keep spinning.

And all the people begin to feel dizzy.

If the stars were crashing

If the moons whirl out

If the planets cease to spin

If the people sit down and close their eyes…

My stars!

My moons!

My planets!

My people!

I suppose you aren’t mine.

But it continues to blow my mind

That you all stay in position

And do the intended and foreordained.

Because it reminds me,

A little spec,

That it is so

For specs as well.
