As I Live

As I walk,

           do not walk in front; for I will not follow.

As I walk,

            do not walk behind me; for I will not be pushed.

As I walk,

             walk beside me; walk with me in life and beyond.

As I talk,

             do not interrupt me; for I will not listen.

As I talk,

              do not walk away; for I will also.

As I talk,

             talk with me; talk with me in life and beyond.

As I dream,

              do not ridicule me; for I will not be amused.

As I dream,

              do not sleep; for I do not want to be alone.

As I dream,

                dream with me; dream with me in life and beyond. 

As I love,

                let us love; for that is life.

                 let us love; without limitation or boundary.
