I Live

I…

I live in a world where the inanimate is animate,

The living are dead,

And reality is not real.

Electronics…

Computers, laptops, chromebooks, and now people.

How do they not see the tragedy?

It spread like a plague and as destiny foretold

It has taken over the world.

It has taken over schools, families, friends, and along with emotions..

The electronic devils take away who we are

By a lack of self or by greed beyond the imagination.

People once lived, laughed and loved,

Now faces are plastered with a cold smirk.

People used to speak

But now only hear

Never really listening.

People once played games with toys and their imagination.

Sports once gave a rush and a sense of joy,

Now… now they don’t.

I’ve heard schools were supposed to be a place of curiosity

However they exhausted the young brains

Leading the kids to playing online games.

Destruction.

Friends and Families were eliminated

People cared too much about superficial relations

Rather that the real deal.

Emotions followed quickly.

Advancements in technology the culprit.

Programming the brain..

Useless humanoids were discarded into alternate realities.

Others continued to live in the evils of the world

No sense of reality or self.

However the lucky few.

The daughter of the owner of the robotic humans for example

just happens to be me.
