I live in now

I compare my flaws to others' perfections no more I take the negativity off the shelf I focus on my direction The sadness that once kicked me off the ground I pick it up off the floor Sweep it into the wind I close the door on self-hatred To never let it back in For the lies it often tell me I concede no more I only hold on to happiness and love For they are whom i should give the key I pay no attention to the noxious thoughts I hearken to those who adore everything i am All my brainsick thoughts I put in a jar I only focus on my goals It's time to open new scrolls And live in now ©Ibratosyn'19
