I Lost

I sit here looking into da past wondering why & how it happened to me just thinking

how he took the only thing i had

i lost my innocence like a dying tree loses it last leaf

i reminisce on the time when i had been beaten time & time again

the blood almost shaking out of me

like violent winds of a hurricane shakes the leaves off a tree

i remember how my scream echoed louder than boisterious thunder

in a terribly deadly storm yet no saved me i was alone.
