I lost it all

I lied to myself and said I can smile

With that lie, I tried and I did

I lied to myself and said I was worth

With that lie, I tried and I believed it

I lied to myself and said to keep strong

With that lie, I tried and was better

     But I guess it’s true

That lies com back to hurt you

     Because I feel crushed

But by 200% more than usual

I lied through tears and I made the pain stop

To bad I wasn’t meant to be this way

     I will not be loved

And my best will never be good enough

     I was becoming a rose

But I am only a weed

     And even my weeded leaves

          Are wilting.
