I lost the love I love the most

I lost the love I loved the most

And in the darkness no light showed

But far in the sky I knew my love was looking down below

Keeping me from harm, from pain, from heart break

I lost the love I love the most

And now that its gone nothing else can compare

This is so unfair

Isnt there an answer? A reason for the loss

I'd do anything to learn why, I'd even start to floss

I'm lost you see and I'm trying to find my way, if only my love came back

I wouldn't feel like I'm going to crack

I lost the love I love the most

She was a jem and a beauty and I lost her too soon

Fourteen and still dreaming when she fell into slumber and never woke up

I lost the love I love the most

And now there is nothing left
