i lost you

the more i cry

the more i die

the more i stop and wonder why

i toss and turn and make up words

thinking of ways to stop the hurt

to stop and freeze

and maybe see

why this even happened to me

i stop and stare

and look everywhere

but the answer is not there

i look up and out

and search within

for an answer, a reason,

to why my head spins

cause it hurts

and i cry

until my eyes get all dry

until my head starts to throb

and my legs can't stand by
