I Love Cliches

They say that every dog has his day, And I feel that Cliches are the same way. No I haven't face death, and I've never been to court, So I'd like this poem to serve as an English PSA of sorts. When I think about Cliches I get all fuzzy and warm, But then realize there is, indeed, an impending storm. I get down in the dumps, so sad and blue, Having realized some people thing that these phrases are overused. If life is like a roller coaster and love is blind, why can't we go for a whirl and give cliches a try. Now this poem still connects to my emotions you see, Because these Cliches, well, they complete me. I know you may think these phrases are boring, and dry as a bone, But their so interesting, and fun, and widely well known. Now before I go and bid you adieu, I'd like to quickly give you a few Of the lessons I've learned over the years, From teachers, parents and even my peers. Do as I say and not as I do and don't throw Cliches in the can, They are meant to be used and embraced, even though I am not a fan.
