I love her
I love her
I love her so much,
That nothing in this world
Could ever be too much.
It doesn’t matter
If she has hair or not,
In every broken version,
She’s still the prettiest I’ve got.
It doesn’t matter
If her skin doesn’t glow,
Or if the world forgets
The beauty she used to show.
It doesn’t matter
If her eyes aren’t called pretty,
Or her smile fades slowly
In a world that shows no pity.
Her nose, her face,
May change with time,
But in my eyes,
She’ll always shine.
I love her
Not for the mirror,
Not for the light
But for the soul
That survives every night.
Maybe the world will leave her,
When her beauty starts to fade,
When wrinkles replace
The compliments she once made.
But I won’t leave her
Not then, not now, not ever,
Because my love for her
Isn’t something that can sever.
Even when time writes stories
On her fragile skin,
I’ll still see the girl
Who’s always been within.
I love her
I’ll say it again,
Through every loss,
Through every pain.
Forever and always
No matter what I see,
She’ll always be beautiful
Because she is me.
