I Love Him

I would date him

if he wanted to date me

He makes me happy

It's as simple as that

I want a guy who can make me smile and laugh

someone I enjoy texting

sitting next to

Facetiming

getting food and drinks with

We're the same age

Practically, anyway

We have so much in common

It's crazy

Our friends thought we were dating

and honestly, I can see why they thought so

but he was oblivious

thinking it was absurd they'd think we were together

(but I was holding onto his arm and leaning into him

anyone would think we were a couple)

We love each other

but only platonically

It's weird because I like someone older, and he knows it

but I love him
