The love I have for my town is undeniable

The small town feel makes me smile.

The people are so reliable, 

And so willing to go the extra mile. 

Wether in time of happiness or in time of need, 

The small town vibe is what we feed.

Sure we have been on the news

For guns, gangs, and bridges that have broke,

But the small town feel we will not loose

Becuase we will cover it in just one stroke.

My city stands behind me

When there is no better timing.

I will never loose the small town feel

Even when I live here no more. 

When I live in a huge city, it won't be a big deal,

For it is just a new door.

Mount Vernon makes me happy, the town that is like art
