"I love you"

Hey Lex, i've got something to tell you.

I hope it will bring you a smiole.

It's probably long-overdue,

But that only makes it worth while.

I've had to bite my tongue to keep,

From saying this to you all the time.

The words I yearn to say are deep,

Hence the reason i've written these rhymes.

Poems make everything sweet,

Like aphids that ooze honeydew.

And this poem would be incomplete,

Without the three worrds, "I love you."
