I Love You
I love you.
But why?
You're a jerk and you're conceited.
You're rude and you always have a mean comment to make.
You hurt me, but then tell me you love me.
You never listen to me.
You talk about your perfect ex's and make me feel like crap.
So why do I love you?
Maybe it's the way you hug me,
And how I feel so safe.
Maybe it's your smile,
And how it melts my heart.
Or maybe it's your eyes,
And how they put me in a trance.
Maybe it's simply the fact that I love how reckless and uncaring you are.
Perhaps I'm just making up excuses for you,
Hoping deep down that one day you might love me too.
