But I love you
Everything was great- in the beginning.
It started with the flirty comments.
"hey gorgeous",
"You're so beautiful",
"you're so cute when you do this"
"you're so adorable".
Then came the flowers, and the singing songs over the phone every night
Slowly but surely every phone call brought on a fight
Everything you did was wrong
"I hope he will still love me" was your every thought.
who have I become? Who have you turned me into?
Im doing things that I swore I would never do.
"Why are you always yelling at me?"
"Because I love you and want you to be better."
That was his reasoning for everything.
This crazy cycle went on for three years.
Every night she shed a new set of tears.
She finally had the courage to end it.
But, even now, the sight of him brings all these emotions back
even though he only tries to throw you off track.
"It's because i love you that I broke you."
