"I Love You"
Because you said "I Love You" doesn't mean you can hurt me
Because you told me "I'll never hurt you" made me believe that you were the one for me
Just because you said " I Love You" it made every scar, and bruise okay
I let you into my life because of the words " I Love You" meant so much to me that I didn't care.
But I was too late to realize that the word " I Love You" didn't mean you what it meant to me
You were supposed to break down my walls but instead, you built my wall so high I can't even see the end
Instead, it should be like this.
Because you said "I Love You" you made me feel safe in my own skin
Because "I Love You" meant you, what it meant to me
we didn't have to worry about deceiving each other
Because when you said you wouldn't hurt me, you meant it.
I let you into my life because I knew you were the one, the who would go to the end of the world with me
We broke down our walls together because the words I Love You helped our relationship grow stronger.
