"But I Love You"
"I love you."
A few simple words,
so much meaning.
"I love you."
Family, friends, lover,
some for all.
"I love you."
Joyful memories,
so unforgettable.
"I love you."
Fights, screams, cries,
so unforgettable.
"I love you."
Love is somewhat like magic,
dark or light.
"I love you."
From being flooded with bright, sunny times
to blinded with a million lies.
"But I love you."
From a stomach filled with butterflies
to an obliterated heart.
"But I love you."
From bubbly daydreams
to sleepless nights with puffy eyes.
"But I love you."
From softly holding hands
to bruising around the wrist.
"But I love you."
A few simple words,
so much meaning.
