I Love You

I love you.

I love you means trust, honesty, security.

It means being caught when you do a trust fall.

It means, yeah you do silly things sometimes, but I still love you.

It means you're a pretty amazing human being.

I love you.

Not because you buy me things. Not because you do whatever I ask without question.

Not because you take it and you never talk.

Not because I know I can take advantage of you.

Not because I wield your heart like a sword and use it to stab you.

I love you.

Because you're there- day or night.

Because you care, even when I don't.

Becuase when you smile, I smile.

Becuase I'm never tired of seeing your face or hearing your voice.

You'll be there for me and I'll be there for you.

I'll protect you. I'll guide you. I'll laugh with you. I'll pick you up when you fall.

Becuase guess what?

I love you.
