I love you

You know I love you.

But did she really know?

The broken glass pane.

The feeling of  his disdain.

Countless hours spent.

All filled with shouting and fear.

She asked herself why

Why she takes the pain and abuse

To her it's quite simple

The torment excused by this

A fake smile and touch

Him holding her in his clutch

And the words leave his curved lips

But I love you though
