I Love You

Because I love you,

I look you deep in the eyes

I hold my head up high,

When I'm standing by your side

Because I love you,

I laugh all the time,

I can be myself

And I never have to hide

Because I loved you,

I couldn't help but be shy

How was I to know

That you'd one day be mine

Because I love you,

I'll never again be alone

When you dropped to your knees

I finally found my best friend, my partner, my lover,

My home.
