"I Love You"
It’s a How Was Your Day and Have A Good Night.
Its to be fun and be rude and play to still stay polite.
Its remembering to ask.
Its respecting a No.
Its feeling safe without a mask.
It’s being able to let them go.
Its 4 AM calls that are better than sleep.
Its open eyes and ears and hearts and hands and mouths without alarm.
Its giving space. Is closeness. Its, together, counting sheep.
Its closing all those things sometimes without worry of harm.
It’s a choice. It’s a voice. It’s always feeling heard.
And no matter what a title says it’s much more than three words.
